Scout: the Shop Dog, was Kaleb's original trusty companion in the workshop. Scout was a Husky/American Bulldog rescue and loved stealing important pieces of wood that Kaleb laid around.
During his free time, Scout: the Shop Dog enjoyed time basking in the sun, licking faces, and ripping apart plastic bottles. Scout: the Shop Dog was an integral part of the foundational team at BHC, often found modeling alongside the products, and diligently protecting the workshop.
Scout Dog passed away after a long battle with a rare blood disorder on February 14th, 2022 at just over 2 years old. A few short weeks after, we were given the opportunity to foster, and eventually adopt, his littermate Baloo. Within the following year, his final littermate, Kyon, was surrendered back as well. We adopted Kyon, and both him and Baloo have been fabulous additions to our family ever since.
