Kaleb is an Iowa native, born and raised in the Iowa City area, and now residing in the Cedar Valley. Kaleb recounts his first experience woodworking when he was knee-high to a grasshopper, screwing bits of scrap wood together in his father's garage.
Working full-time as a Recruiting and Retention NCO for the Iowa Army National Guard, Kaleb spends much of his time traveling Iowa and training his warriors. Kaleb and his wife, Courtney, are parents of two beautiful boys, Liam and Silas.
Kaleb's true passion for woodworking started in 2016 after helping his father build a lean-to onto their garage at his family home. With a number of years of construction experience doing roofing, gutters and more, as well as serving as a Sergeant in an Engineering Unit with the Iowa Guard, Kaleb's experience varies greatly, but he most enjoys the finer works which are on display here at Bear Hand Customs!
